Halloween at Hawthorne Glen

Photo by: AP Photo/POLFOTO, Carsten Snejbjerg

All little gouls and goblins are invited to this year’s “Halloween Glen,” which will take place every half hour between 6 and 8:30 p.m, Oct. 16 and 17.

The theme is all about nature’s outcasts: slimy, stinky characters with bad reputations. Families can expect to enjoy interactive skits, Halloween cartoons, crafts, and refreshments including pretzel bones, witches’ brew, and hallow-weenies.

This fun, educational, and entertaining event will be most enjoyed by children between the ages of 4 and 12. Admission is $5 per person and children under 3 are free.

Parking is limited at Hawthorn Glen so participants must park at Central Services, 5225 W. Vliet St., and use the free shuttle service to and from the event.

Register through Milwaukee Recreation here.
