One of the most fun things about Halloween is the arrival of cute little costumed "trick-or-treaters" at the door. But, be warned, if a group of Black-Eyed Children appears at your door, they won’t be asking for candy.
Black-Eyed Children have but one consistent request, “Can we come in?”
Whatever you do – whether it's Halloween or any other time of year – do not invite them into your home!
Reports of sightings of Black Eyed Children number in the thousands. Sometimes they travel in pairs, sometimes in groups, and sometimes you’ll see just one. They knock on doors and tap on windows all over the world, asking to be let in.
Missouri -- Black-eyed young girl
In 2009, a Lawson, Missouri, housewife answered a knock at her front door to find a young girl she did not recognize. The child, about seven years old and wearing a white dress, had dirty hair and bad breath. She said she needed help and pleaded to come inside. When the woman noticed the girl's eyes were coal black, she immediately closed the door and locked it. She was so traumatized that she needed medical attention and refused to leave her house for days.
