You spend so much time each year putting the perfect Halloween decorations in place and finding the best Halloween costumes, but have you ever stopped to think about the creepy music of the Halloween season? What comes to mind when you think of scary music or music for a Halloween party? Is it the theme from one of the scariest horror movies you've ever seen, or something more fun-filled like Monster Mash or the theme from The Addams Family?
On October 29, 2011, bring the kids out to the St. Peters Cultural Arts Centre and enjoy a Halloween concert by the St. Charles Symphony. You may hear a few favorites or be surprised by the tunes you didn't think of. Either way, it will be a hauntingly good time as the members of the symphony present the sounds of Halloween while dressed in full costume. You're invited to dress up as well and all kids parading around in costume will receive a treat!
The St. Charles Symphony Halloween Concert is completely free, so it's a great way to make some fun memories with your kids or your friends and not break the budget. Show time is from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the St. Peters Cultural Arts Centre, which is located within the St. Peters City Hall.
