Halle Berry is officially pregnant. The actress has confirmed that she and fiance Olivier Martinez are expecting a son together. USA Today reported on Friday, April 5 that Halle Berry' publicist announced that the actress is 12 weeks along.
A source close to Halle Berry, 46, and Martinez, 47, reportedly stated to E! News, "Halle and Olivier are really excited. It's a blessing. They can't wait to have a baby together."
The new addition to the family will be little brother to Halle Berry's child, Nahla, 5, with Gabriel Aubry.
Berry and Martinez, 47, began their relationship in 2010 while filming "Dark Tide." The couple were engaged 15 months ago and have yet to marry.
Halle Berry is best known as an actress and fashion model. Berry won an Academy Award for Best Actress in 2002 for her performance in "Monster's Ball," becoming the first and, as of 2013, the only woman of African-American descent to win an Oscar for a leading role.
She is one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood and has been involved in the production side of several of the films in which she performed.
