Berry showed off her hot after-baby body at the 2014 Academy Awards. Berry looked elegant in a body-hugging black Versace gown just four months after giving birth to son Maceo.

"I'm not quite where I want to be with my body, so this was a great dress for me to wear tonight!" Berry told People. "I'm working hard [to slim down]."

Halle, 47, said it has been a lot of work juggling a new baby with getting back in shape and her booming career, but she wouldn't have it any other way.

"It's a whole new life for me now all over again, having a new little baby again," said Berry. "I'm working on a television show now, so I'm juggling working and being a mom and breast-feeding while I'm working."

Halle, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 1989, follows a low-carb, sugar-free diet for diabetics that features plenty of non-starchy vegetables and high-quality proteins.

The lithe 5-foot-6 brunette stunner typically works out for 90 minutes, five days a week, doing a routine that combined cardio exercise with cross-training.

Berry said she dislikes working out, but does it to keep her diabetes in check. "I do not love to work out," she said. "But if I stick to exercising every day and put the right things in my mouth, then my diabetes just stays in check."

Halle is married to French actor Olivier Martinez. She has a six-year-old, daughter, Nahla, with Canadian model Gabriel Aubry.
