Halladay feels good after his second spring training start (Photos)

Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Roy Halladay pitched the Phillies to a spring training win over the New York Yankees yesterday.

And early this morning, he said he feels good physically and conditioning-wise. Yesterday was his second start of the spring, as the ace is looking to bounce-back during the 2013 campaign.

Doc was affected by nagging back issues throughout the entire 2012 season, and he reportedly worked on his lower body and core this off-season to strengthen it. Yet, while he worked on his back, there are no guarantees that his back issues will affect him during the 2013 season.

Last season, he had a 11-8 season after making 25 starts. He also had a 4.49 ERA in 156.1 innings.

Doc is expected to make $20 million this season and has a $20 million dollar option for next season. His option is guaranteed if all of the following is met: 225 innings pitched in 2013, 415 innings pitched in 2012-13, and Halladay is not on disabled list at end of 2013 season.
