According to the National Lacrosse League on Wednesday, former Calgary Roughnecks head coach Chris Hall has been inducted into the National Lacrosse League Hall of Fame. Hall coached the Roughnecks from 2002-2007 and won the Champion's Cup with Calgary in 2004.

Over six seasons while coaching Calgary, Hall had a record of 46-42. However twice the Roughnecks won ten games in a season while Hall was the Roughnecks head coach--in 2004 and 2005.

During Hall's first season with the Roughnecks, the team was a pitiful 4-12, but the team scored 224 goals that year. It would be the most goals scored by the Roughnecks in one season while Hall was the Roughnecks' head coach.

From 2009-2014, Hall was the head coach of the San Jose/Washington/Vancouver Stealth. Hall would go on to win 39 more games with the Stealth franchise. His 85 career wins in the National Lacrosse League ranks third all-time behind Darris Kilgour of the Buffalo Bandits (121) and Les Bartley of the Toronto Rock (93).

Hall is also one of two National Lacrosse League coaches to win the Champion's Cup with two different teams. Hall led the Washington Stealth to a Champion's Cup title in the Stealth's first year of existence in Everett, Washington in 2010.

Hall made the difficult decision to retire at the end of last season from Vancouver and was replaced by Dan Perreault. The reason for the retirement was health issues because Hall was diagnosed with cancer in 2011.

Hall will be joined in the National Lacrosse League Hall of Fame with former defenseman Pat Coyle. A native of Orangeville, Ontario, Coyle played in the NLL from 1999-2008. His first six seasons were with the Toronto Rock and his last four seasons were with the Colorado Mammoth. Coyle was known throughout the entire NLL for collecting loose balls.
