Country music fans of the Kentucky duo, Halfway to Hazard, were shocked to hear the recent news that concerts and appearances were put on hold indefinitely. David Tolliver posted a message on his Facebook that simply stated:
To the wonderful and loyal H2H fans,
I want to first thank you guys for all your support and love over these past few years, you guys are awesome!!! It has been a wild ride so far and we have made so many great friends and memories but at this time in my life I have to take a step back and deal with some personal and family issues that I have neglected to address until now. I am gonna take a break from Halfway to Hazard and put my energy into making myself a better man, father and husband! I will miss you guys but it will only be for a short time, after that we’ll see how this life is gonna go! God bless you all, I love each and everyone of you like family!!!

Chad Warrix responded to David's decision with a simple note stating, "I support David completely on his decision, he is my brother. Thanks to all the fans, friends and family that continue to support H2H and especially David through this tough time."
Fans of the duo expressed their feelings and support of the band. Halfway to Hazard recently released their second album, "Come On Time" in December. Their second annual Charity Trail Ride took place last August, raising over $250, 000 for the Buckhorn Children's Home in Eastern Kentucky.

And Jade I'm with Lori you obviously know NOTHING about these guys. They are VERY loyal to their families, David is actually very protective of his family. To take David's words he wants to become a better man, father and husband. There is nothing wrong with wanting to become better and spending some quality time with his family. And my dear stories are that just stories....they are made up with people with nothing better to do than screw up other peoples lives. I have squashed those little stories before by people coming to their own conculsions without knowing all the facts. So don't even begin to judge someone you don't even know you have no right.
