The Retrievers have enjoyed their finest half of offensive lacrosse this season and lead the Albany Great Danes 9-4 at halftime.

UMBC scored eight goals in the second half versus Binghamton last weekend, which was their previous high in a half. The Retrievers hadn't scored more than six goals in a first half before tonight.

Kyle Wimer extended his scoring streak to 29 straight games with a first quarter goal. He has four points tonight on two goals and two assists. Attackman Matt Latham has scored three goals for the Retrievers. UMBC has scored their nine goals on 19 shots.

Senior defensive midfielder Mike Camardo has forced five turnovers. Freshman goalkeeper Adam Cohen, making his third straight start, has performed well, saving four shots.
