For some people, Memorial Day means barbeques. For some, it means going up north. For some, however, Memorial Day means saving money, buying cool clothes, and helping a charity.

On Memorial Day, stores will be open their usual times, but with a unique difference: clothes are half off. That's right. Half off. With summer approaching, how can this deal get any sweeter?

Well, actually it can. Throughout the day, the store's staff will announce special promotional deals, sort of like the old KMart blue light special.

The Salvation Army has a large number of charitable aims, including substance abuse rehabilitation center, as well as food and lodging assistance. Money earned by the stores go back to their programs.
