Halestorm release new video for 'Mz. Hyde'

Pennsylvania hard rock quartet, Halestorm has been on the road non-stop since the release of its sophomore album, "The Strange Case Of..." in 2012. This winter the band has some much needed down time to write material for their third record before a spring tour of Europe begins on April 1.

Today, Halestorm unveiled the newest video from "The Strange Case Of..." for the track, "Mz. Hyde". Vocalist Lzzy Hale shared that the song is about her own Jekyll and Hyde persona and the track stands as the back drop for the record which has already sold over 300,00 copies in the U.S.

The video was directed by Award-winning filmmaker Daniel E Catullo III and produced by The City Drive Entertainment Group. The video is a montage of live images captured while out on the band's European Tour with Alter Bridge. The video may be viewed above.

Aside from numerous major tours and accolades in 2013, the band also released its second EP of cover songs, "ReAniMate 2.0: The CoVerRs eP". The six-song EP features tracks originally written and recorded by the likes of Daft Punk, Judas Priest, AC/DC, Marilyn Manson, Pat Benatar and Fleetwood Mac. The Examiner talked with Halestorm about the new EP during their U.S. tour with Bullet for my Valentine last spring. It can be heard HERE.

This winter Lzzy Hale was also chosen for the fourth year in a row as one of The Examiner's Top 25 Women in Hard Rock and Metal.
