Yesterday, video game publisher Aksys Games confirmed the official release date for their upcoming PSP title, “Hakuoki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi”, while also revealing a preorder bonus to look forward to.
“Hakuoki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi” blends the visual novel, “Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom”, with an action-adventure game in order to give fans of the series a new more action-packed playing experience. Players will be able to play as one of six legendary samurai as they complete two major storylines, Shinsengumi Chronicle, which allows players to play as one of the six main characters in an alternate universe, changing history, or Shinsengumi Memorial, where players will experience battles from “Hakuoki: Demons of the Fleeting Blossom”.
Gamers can look for “Hakuoki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi” on the Sony PSP beginning on Feb. 19, 2013. Those of you that pick up a physical copy of the game will also receive a 16-page full-color character guide and if you preorder from Amazon before Feb. 19th you can also score a Hakuoki bandana as a bonus.
