In “Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi”, players will take on the role of Chizuru, a young woman who somehow finds herself battling alongside the infamous Shinsengumi. With various factions vying for control of Japan, Chizuru will not only deal with the political chaos, but also her own feelings for her new companions. Additional tales of love will also be available for players to experience via DLC. Images from the game can be found in the slideshow on the left.

The “Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi” limited edition, on the right, will include unique items inspired by the series, a traditional Japanese “Omamori” love charm, a Japanese hair comb and a Japanese hair pin, all contained within a premium art box. The “Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi” limited edition will be available in the spring of 2014 for the PlayStation 3 at the price of $59.99 and you can learn more about the game by visiting the official site.
