Haiti: Two Years After the Earthquake

"Mom, I used to cry every night at the orphanage.  I don't cry anymore."-My son within weeks of being home after the earthquake, loved, cared for and growing.

Two years ago, Haiti was ripped apart by an enormous earthquake.  Work is still being done to aid and rebuild this beautiful country.  Adoptions pre-earthquake were sluggish.  Some of the pre-earthquake adoptions were taking 3-5 years to be completed with the children home after that lengthy waiting time.  Currently, post-earthquake, adoptions are reportedly quicker taking around one year to be finalized.  If you are interested in adopting from Haiti check out the links below.
