Lefteris Banos, Athletic Director at Haddonfield Memorial High School announced Varsity Girl's Lacrosse Coach Lauren Simone Farrell was inducted in the New Jersey Hall of Fame on Sunday, Jan. 27 at Mercer Oaks Country Club in Princeton Junction.
Farrell, a 2002 graduate of Princeton University was named the NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Tournament's Most Outstanding Player when she guided the Princeton Tigers to the national title in 2002. A native of Delran, NJ, she was named the Inside Lacrosse Attacker of the Year, was first-team All-America and made the Tewaaraton Watch List for the second time of her career. During her career she was named first-team All-Ivy League three times and second-team All-America twice. Lauren was team captain as a junior and a senior when Princeton won back-to-back Ivy League Championships. She was also a member of the 2000 NCAA All-Tournament Team when Princeton was the national runner-up. Lauren was named to the NCAA Division I Women's Lacrosse 25th Anniversary Team in 2006.
