H.R. 748 mandatory military for ‘eventually’ all 'perhaps'

Something is happening, a new bill which might enforce all men and women from 18-25 to serve in uniform. The bill submitted/sponsored by Rep Rangel, Charles, B. of New York [NY-13] ‘introduced 2/15/2013’ ‘H.R. 748.’ Now for those who do not know Rep Charles, Rangel; he is, a US Representative for the US 13th congressional district. He has had problems with tax laws and so much more.

Rangel has a slew of unethical misconduct such as; ‘The House Ethics Committee focused on whether Rangel improperly rented multiple rent stabilized New York apartments, improperly used his office in raising money for the Rangel Center College of New York, and failed to disclose rental income from his villa in the Dominican Republic.’
Congress.gov United States Legislative Information; as of today states, ‘has not been received.’

So let us ponder what would the United States be like if congress passes this bill. Young men and women would learn a job trade. They would get paid, possible benefits, and it would keep our youth off of the streets for a time to learn, grow, and be responsible. More benefits could be a turning point for possible career paths with possible paid education. There would not be a draft, because if passed; the United States would have one of the largest militaries on earth. Assume there would only be a one year-term of service; one might be called back during wartime, because one would basically be in the National Guard forever and who wouldn’t want those benefits after retirement?

The downside could be; the possibility of making our children, United States citizens doing something they may not want to do. One might suggest it would be taking away our free-rights as individuals, however one might agree this course of action by our government might be the only way to keep violence and drug use off of our streets. Also, is this bill only targeting certain classes, meaning would the wealthy of society also have to do this type of service that Rep Rangel, Charles, B. of New York has sponsored if passed?
