H.R.5566 regarding Crush Videos now in the hands of our Senate

They are called Crush videos, and they live up to their name. A Crush video is material that involves the inhumane and cruel torture of small animals. These often depict the live killing and torture of rats, rabbits, baby ducks, puppies and kittens.  Often people view these videos of women crushing these innocent animals to death with high heels, and some, very disturbed people, have a fetish for it. This just one way people have shown videos of small animals being killed for the entertainment of some sick individuals. The other actions taken in these videos include burning, suffocating, and drowning small animals, but are not limited to just these cruel acts.

These videos were made illegal in 1999 through "The Crush Act," but on April 20, 2010, the law was overturned claiming that part of it was in violation of our freedom of speech. This law did not violate our freedom of speech, and it is shockingly disgusting to think this act is what we consider part of our freedom of speech. A question not asked is what about the animals freedom of speech, or even their god given right to just live. For centuries acts of animal cruelty have been pushed aside and considered normal to some. These crush videos are animal cruelty in every aspect that defines animals cruelty. These acts were made illegal over ten years ago, because the majority of the general public agreed these videos were inhumane.

Thankfully there was an appeal to this law being over turned, and on November 15, 2010 the House of Representatives passed H.R. 5566, which is an adjusted reinitiaticion to the Crush Act. We are now awaiting for the Senate to approve the changes made to this law by the House of Representatives. If this bill is passed by the Senate it will be placed on our presidents desk for approval.
The American people must use their freedom of speech to now urge our Senators to pass this bill, and continue to show we do not approve of any acts of animal cruelty. Please contact our Senators and show your support to eliminate Crush videos once more, and take time to sign this document supported by the ASPCA and The Animal Rescue Site telling our United States Senate to support legislation that amends the Crush Act.

    Please sign Petition found here:

    http://www.change.org/petitions/view/animal_torture_crush_videos_contrib...

--THESE ANIMAL TORTURE CRUSH VIDEOS GROSSLY CONTRIBUTE TO THE DELINQUENCY OF A MINOR: In that, these are real torture *snuff* videos, using real animals for purulent purposes.

--These crush torture animal videos WILL teach our young to become violent criminals, is linked to conduct and personality disorders, due to the fascination with animal torture.

--The USA also has the highest total documented prison and jail population in the world. In 2006, $68,747,203,000 was spent on corrections. (Florida alone spends $2.5 billion a year on State prison). States spend an estimated 7 percent of their budget on corrections. The cost of medical care for inmates is growing by 10 percent annually.

Isn't our USA prison population high and costly enough? Why are these disgusting animal torture videos (real torture/snuff) considered free speech when they contribute to the delinquency of minors creating future serial killers and violent criminals. Don't we citizens have a right to a safer society? - what about our rights?

Thank you for your time and consideration in doing the right common sense intervention.

By not pass HR 5566 children, women, and men will get hurt and killed incited by these vile monstrous videos-how can you let that be on your conscience?

--Once HR 5566 passes to law, virtually all pornographic web pages that have these monstrous torture/snuff videos will voluntarily remove them for obvious reasons.
