H&M debuted its second green fashion line this week at bicoastal launch parties on April 4, with the “Conscious Exclusive Collection” created from sustainable materials, according to the New York Daily News.
Singer/songwriter and actress Victoria Justice hosted the Hollywood launch party for the “Conscious Exclusive Collection” at H&M Sunset Strip to introduce the latest eco-friendly fashion at the same time as the Fifth Avenue Flagship location debuted the line in New York City.
H&M’s green fashion line is comprised of recycled polyester chiffon and organic cotton and popular amongst celebrities such as Helen Hunt whose navy, red carpet Oscar gown was a piece from the “Conscious Exclusive Collection.”
This is H&M’s second “Conscious Collection” in its continued effort to fashion green Hollywood-inspired cocktail dresses and party wear, “great fashion with the added bonus of sustainable materials,” according to Catarina Midby, head of fashion and sustainability at H&M.
H&M’s “Conscious Exclusive Collection” includes cocktail dresses, evening gowns, tailored suits and menswear at affordable prices ranging from $34.95 to $299.
H&M and its second foray into green fashion can be found on Long Island in Garden City and Valley Stream among other locations.
