Cyclists may rejoice. According to a Feb. 12 press release, H&M announced its new capsule men’s collection for Brick Lane Bikes. Perfect for the urban and the contemporary men, the collection is stylish and versatile.
Combining fashion with functionality, the 11-piece collection includes rider shirts, jackets, vintage-inspired jerseys and caps. The collection is exclusively designed by H&M and tested by Brick Lane Bikes to provide cyclists a collection that is safe, comfortable and trendy, too.
Petter Klusell, designer at H&M says, “H&M for Brick Lane Bikes brings together the fashion, function and heritage of cycling. Each piece has been designed so it can be worn on or off the bike, inspired by the vibrant colours and specialist knowledge which make Brick Lane Bikes so unique. It’s great that they’ve tested every single piece around the streets of London, so we know the collection really works.”
Feya Buchwald, founder of Brick Lane Bikes reiterates that the new collection showcases the “energy and excitement of Brick Lane Bikes,” along with honoring the tradition and “heritage” of cycling. The collection essays the needs of a cyclist and is crafted with detail. From offering layering options to work every weather to functional features like pockets, H&M for Brick Lane has attempted to address it all.
Made entirely from more sustainable materials as part of H&M’s Conscious work, the collection will be available in around 180 stores and online from March 7.
