Wang, who has an eponymous line as well as holding the title of creative director at Balenciaga, is the very first american designer tapped to create a holiday collaboration for the Swedish retailer. His urban aesthetic appeals to a broad range of customers, which fits with the retailer perfectly.
H and M started holiday collaborations in 2004 with a collection by legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld and has been making us wait with bated breath every year since with such design greats as Stella Mc Cartney (2005), Viktor and Rolf ( 2006), Roberto Cavali ( 2007), Comme De Garcons (2008), Sonia Rykiel (2009), Alber Elbaz for Lanvin (2010), Donatella Versace ( 2011), Maison Martin Margiela ( 2012), and Isabel Marant ( 2013).
The collection, which will be available in H and M stores and on hm.com debuts November 6, 2014 and will include menswear, womenswear, and accessories.With five months before the launch even budget savvy shoppers have time to save for their slice of this style pie!
