The University of Washington Huskies women's gymnastics team takes on PAC-12 rival Stanford Cardinals today during their Pink Meet for Breast Cancer Awareness in Seattle.

The Gymdawgs, as they are affectionately known, are ranked 24th and will face the 12th ranked Cardinals in their second conference meet of the young season.

After posting a season high (195.175) against No. 13 Arizona (196.500), the Huskies hope to ride that momentum to a victory.

"Overall, the team just keeps getting better, they are putting in so much hard work in the gym and it is starting to really show," said Washington head coach Joanne Bowers on the Husky website. "I’m so excited for us to be back at home, especially for the freshmen. It is a perfect time for us to get back to our own gym and to really capitalize on the success of our last road meet."

Washington begins that quest at 4 pm at the Alaska Airlines Arena on the UW campus.
