Gwyneth Paltrow talks about wearing Stark tech suit in 'Iron Man 3' (Spoiler)

According to recent interview about "Iron Man 3" on March 21, Gwyneth Paltrow, who plays Pepper Potts, revealed some information about her wearing her own given version of the Iron Man suit. Her children were on set as she fitted the costume and her son was in total awe of how awesome she looked in the outfit.

Paltrow expressed her involvement and her expectation in wearing one of Tony Stark's suits. She thought it was more fun and adventurous as well.

"There were talks of Pepper getting in the suit at the end of “Iron Man 2,” but Marvel wasn’t ready to do it yet. I think in the comic books she does eventually get into the suit and she has her own suit, and I know Robert was really interested in having Pepper do more in this movie, and it was also a factor in me coming back and getting to do things that were a little bit more fun and different and a little bit more adventurous. It would’ve still been nice, but it would’ve been very much the same thing just to be buttoned-up Pepper, and in this movie there’s a whole different experience of her".

Difficulties in Paltrow wearing the Mark armor

There were no real comfort issues involving the suit at all. In fact, even her children tried on her suit. She even claimed her son was bug-eyed when he saw her wearing it. Paltrow thought it was indeed "worth it".

Marvel comics and Pepper's "Rescue" suit

This will be the first time Gwenyth Paltrow will be wearing the suit in the Marvel cinematic universe, however, this isn't the first time Pepper had worn one of Stark's suits in the comic book series.

During the post-Skrull situation in the Marvel "Civil War" event, Stark was exiled as the head of S.H.I.E.L.D. and is seen as a coward while Norman Osborn takes control of the Super Human Registration act as well as the Avengers Initiative.

Stark is exiled as a result and took a long grueling attempt at getting his act together during which he developed a suit for Pepper that had more of a utilitarian means of aiding in crisis situations. It was named "Rescue" and was more of a defensive armor than offensive.

There's one thing that the "Invincible Iron Man" comics and the "Iron Man" movies have in common. Potts have leadership roles in both the universes.

To find out more about Paltrow's suit, be ready for "Iron Man 3" which is scheduled to open in theaters on May 3.
