Atlanta Gwyneth Paltrow fans, the tabloids are sensationalizing yet again when they say that Gwyneth Paltrow was so brave that she wasn’t going to let a little hurricane get in the way of her book launch at BookHampton in East Hampton, New York.
Actually, Paltrow did her book signing on the 26th o August - well out of harm's way, 2 days before it struck NY on the 28th!
Gwyneth Paltrow’s new book is entitled My Father's Daughter: Delicious, Easy Recipes Celebrating Family and Togetherness and shows Gwyneth in the same blue and white T-shirt that she sported for her book signing.
The superstar actress sat on a simple wooden stool provided by the bookstore and addressed the crowd with a microphone, bare-faced and without makeup.
With her hair unceremoniously pulled back the starlet appeared in her torn cut-off shorts that showed her pockets from beneath her fraying hems.
Looking sun-burned, the 38-year-old actress showed off her long legs in rubber thongs. It was clear that she had on her bikini underneath from the tell-tale straps tied around her neck.
Reportedly, the Oscar-winning actress will be donating part of the proceeds from her East Hampton book sales to a local charity, the East Hampton Food Pantry.
Apparently the actress has a home there as the owner of the store, Ms Charline Spektor said that she’s known Gwyneth for years and she’s a great friend and neighbor of their bookstore.
Paltrow’s book has some 150 recipes from her deceased father, Bruce Paltrow, who was a film and television director and producer. Her mother is well-known actress Blythe Danner, where Gwyneth gets her blonde looks from.
This is not the first time the actress has been published as Gwyneth Paltrow has some 20 literary titles to her credit according to amazon.com!
