Gwyneth Paltrow has given up dieting, detoxing and cleansing for now. According to a Jan. 10 US Weekly report, Paltrow said she simply is enjoying pasta and cheese too much to give them up right now.
However, Gwyneth is focusing more on the types of foods she eats with her pasta, cheese and other favorites. Paltrow said she is working with Dr. Frank Lipman to identify the best superfoods to include in her daily diet – and in her new cookbook.
Lipman lists spinach, walnuts, blueberries, beans, avocadoes, wild salmon, chia seeds, cruciferous vegetables and small amounts of dairy-free chocolate as the top superfoods. Superfoods are packed with high levels of vitamins and nutrients. One of the ways Paltrow is enjoying these foods is to whip up a walnut pesto to go with her beloved pasta.
Gwyneth Paltrow’s cookbook, ”It's All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great,”contains 185 recipes based on the elimination diet her doctor suggested to pinpoint food triggers. Gwyneth is currently working on her second cookbook, which will feature recipes rich in superfoods.
