"It’s All Good" is Gwyneth Paltrow’s second cookbook; but her latest is giving folks “lotsa good intel to chew on,” according to E! Online March 13. The cookbook is set to be released on April 2, which offers 185 recipes based on her own healthy diet and lifestyle. Inside the book the star also dishes about the diet of her family, Coldplay singer, Chris Martin, daughter Apple, 8, and son Moses, 6. The recipes are both low-carb and gluten-free.
Paltrow may be most known for her healthy foods consisting of the macrobiotic diet or the kale and lemon cleanse. Now, after learning of her anemia and vitamin D deficiency, she knew her nutrition had to change. “Every single nutritionist, doctor and health-conscious person I have ever come across…seems to concur that [gluten] is tough on the system and many of us are at best intolerant of it and at worst allergic to it,” she writes in a section of the healthy cookbook.
The latest recipes will give readers and cooks a new “flavorful spin” on popular dishes based on her doctor prescribed diet. Gwyneth was forced to give up eggs, dairy, coffee, sugar, shellfish, alcohol, processed foods, meat, and many other ingredients. Recipes include dishes such as salmon burgers with pickled ginger and hummus tartine with scallion mint pesto.
