Gweneth Paltrow miscarriage: Actress shares suffering experience

Gweneth Paltrow suffered a miscarriage while carrying her third child, she tells Britain's You. In a report published May 17 by Huffington Post, news broke that the "Iron Man 3" star was unable to carry the baby to full-term. Paltrow didn't reveal exactly when she had the miscarriage or at what point in her pregnancy it happened, but she shared that she "nearly died."

“I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third," Paltrow said. "It didn’t work out and I nearly died. So I am like, ‘Are we good here or should we go back and try again?’”

Paltrow and her husband, Chris Martin of the band Coldplay, have two children together -- Apple, eight, and Moses, who is about to turn seven in April.

The 40-year-old actress admits that she's "missing her third child" and is always "thinking about it." When her good friends, Beyonce and Jay-Z had Blue Ivy, it made her think about wanting another baby again. She admitted in an interview with InStyle magazine last October that she wasn't sure she liked the idea of going back to changing diapers again now that her two kids are so much older.

Paltrow's miscarriage was a terrible experience, but she still seems open to having another child. She praises her husband for all of the support he's given her and for being such a great father to Apple and Moses.

"He is so good to the children, and to know that you had kids with such a good man is like a real weight off you," she said. "We are committed co-parents, we make all the decisions together and we lean on each other for support as well."
