Singer Gwen Stefani hit the red carpet for the 2013 Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Gala on October 17, 2013 according to E! Online. This was a black tie only celebrity studded event to debut their new digs.
Gwen sparkled and shimmered in a platinum colored fringed column gown design by Salvatore Ferragamo. It featured a halter-style neckline with a diamante embellishment. She added a silver squared clutch and an Art Moderne three-banded cuff that was drop dead gorgeous. The gown design had a distinct flapper feel thanks to the zillions of fringes that covered the entire design. This was a really nice change from the usual silver and gold gown color choices we usually see on the red carpet. It was much richer and far more dramatic. It had a playful feel thanks to the movement of the fringe. Gwen always has a great eye for picking standout pieces. Perhaps that is because she is also a designer.
The gala event was presented by Ferragamo. As part of the opening events Ferragamo also included an exclusive showing of their Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
This was a great night for Gwen Stefani to showcase her wonderful taste in high fashion. Check out the video for some of the latest Ferragamo fashions from Milan.
