Gwen Stefani debuted her new dip tips hairstyle on her Instagram, and the new look caused fans to buzz about the singer once again. Stefani is known for her fashion choices, and this new hairstyle is another instance of her gaining attention for her looks. The Spread It reported on Stefani's new look on July 13. Gwen Stefani is one busy woman these days. She joined "The Voice" on NBC as a mentor for season seven, and she is ready to take on the new challenge. Her new look shows just how ready she is to take on reality television.
Her look is not very new though. This is not the first time that Gwen has sported this dip tips look with her hair. She first used this hairstyle back in the 1990s. Back then, she was a girl trying to break it in the music business with No Doubt. A lot has happened in her life since then. She has released more music, headed a fashion label, married, and she is a mother of three boys.
The singer knew she was going back in time with her look when she shared a photo of her new hair on Instagram. The new photo was a dual shot that featured Stefani's hair from back in the day as well. She said the following to caption the photo on Friday: "Some things never change #backintheday #today gx."
Fans definitely responded to Gwen's new style, and the response was highly positive. One fan called the new hair "gorgeousness." Another fan said that Gwen gets "prettier and prettier every year." The dip tips look is definitely new. Daily Mail shared photos of the singer earlier this week. She stepped out in Los Angeles, and her hair was only one shade.
Stefani's busy fall will not only feature her mentoring skills on "The Voice." The singer will make an appearance at New York Fashion Week in September as well. She will debut a new line during the fashion event, and she plans to announce a new collaboration with Hanky Panky later this month. One might ask just how Gwen finds the time to fit everything into her busy schedule. She is a wife, mother, singer, mentor, and fashion icon.
Gwen is definitely ready to take on "The Voice" this fall. The new season is currently in production, and the press has seen Stefani in action. She is not the only new mentor on the panel for season seven either. Pharrell Williams replaced Cee Lo Green on the panel. Stefani and Williams have collaborated on music, so their relationship is clear. They are very nice to each other. During a set visit shared by Today, Blake joked that Stefani and Williams will "nice each other to death." Today further described Stefani's mentoring style:
"Stefani has a maternal presence on set, which is no surprise since the No Doubt front woman is the mother to three boys. While she was very picky about which contestants she turned around for, she did her best to comfort those she didn’t choose, often going up on stage to provide a consoling hug."
Fans will see more of Stefani's style when "The Voice" premieres on Sept. 22 on NBC. What do you think of her look? Is the retro look a hit with you?
