Jamie-Lynn Sigler, 31, and Washington Nationals infielder Cutter Dykstra, 23, announced their engagement just 16 days ago, and on Feb. 12 Us magazine reported that the actress and minor league baseball player are expecting their first baby. The couple made their romance public in March 2012.
Sigler starred in the HBO drama “The Sopranos” as Meadow Soprano, and guest-starred as herself on HBO’s “Entourage.” Jamie-Lynn now stars on the NBC comedy “Guys with Kids.”
“Jamie couldn’t be happier. Cutter is the perfect guy for her. Although they have only been together a year, they both know that this is it for both of them. They are on cloud nine as are their families and friends.”
Sigler tweeted, “Thank you to everyone for all the sweet messages. We are so excited to be able to share the news of this incredible blessing. :)!!"
This will be the first marriage for Cutter Dykstra and the second for Jamie-Lynn. Sigler was married to her manager A.J. DiScala from 2003 until 2005. Jamie-Lynn briefly dated her “Entourage” co-star Jerry Ferrara, who portrayed Salvatore “Turtle” Assante on the HBO drama.
Dykstra tweeted, “Thanks everyone for all the love! Means so much. Me and Jamie-Lynn are still on cloud nine!”
