"The X Factor" Australia judge Guy Sebastian has joined the star-studded lineup of artists participating in "Play It Forward: A Celebration of Music's Evolution and Influencers" — the 2013 Grammy Foundation Music Preservation Project — which takes place February 7, 2013, at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, California. On January 23, 2013, the Grammy Foundation made the announcement about new artists added the event.
Other performers at the event include Yolanda Adams, Rodney Crowell, Emmylou Harris, LeAnn Rimes, Dionne Warwick, Lupe Fiasco, Ed Sheeran, Mike Einziger of Incubus, Lianne La Havas, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Ann Marie Simpson and George Thorogood and the Destroyers.

Sebastian was the first winner of "Australian Idol" in 2003. He is an ARIA Award-winning, multi-platinum artist in Australia and New Zealand. His most recent studio album (his sixth) is 2012's "Armageddon."
Sebastian became a judge on "The X Factor" Australia in 2010. He has been the "X Factor" mentor to the show's two most recent winners: Samantha Jade (2012 winner) and Reece Mastin (2011 winner).
