The Screening Room at the Florence- Lauderdale Public Library will present the 1939 classic film, "Gunga Din," on Thursday, March 17, at 7 PM. Inspired by the 1892 poem by Rudyard Kipling, the movie stars Cary Grant, Victor McLaglen, Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., Sam Jaffe, and Joan Fontaine. After the feature film, the program will present another Kipling adaptation, the classic television special, "Rikki-Tiki-Tavi" (1975). Both films are free and open to the public.
