“Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) will introduce a bill banning assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition clips on Thursday.
Feinstein’s bill will expand the criteria for classifying military-style assault weapons from a 1994 law, which lapsed a decade later. Her new measure will ban the sale of about 150 types of firearms, including some rifles and handguns, as well as the sale of high-capacity magazines, according to USA Today.”
It is no surprise that liberals want to eliminate the right to own guns. Liberal politicians look at the Bill of Rights as an impediment that prevents them from controlling the lives of United States citizens.
Every tyrannical government in the 20th and 21st centuries has eliminated the right of their citizens to own guns.
The founding fathers specifically put the 2nd amendment in place to prevent the United States from having a tyrannical government.
Liberals have a long history of trampling on the rights of the individual.
One of the most egregious examples of liberals of liberals trampling on the rights of individuals took place during the Clinton Administration. On April 14, 2009 ATF and FBI agents, on the orders of Janet Reno, raided the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas. At least 81 people including 22 children were killed in that raid.
What crime had been committed by Branch Davidians? They were gun collecting tax resistors.
ON May 24th, 2010 John Dingle, in an interview with Paul W. Smith, let the cat out of the bag when he said: “steps that have to be taken to put the legislation together to control the people.”
