Mental Health Myths
Mental health seems to have taken a major place on the stage of life in our society. It establishes parameters to bestow great power to those of the mental health, psychiatric industry. Conservatism has been designated as a mental problem by some liberal industry members. Global warming doubters have also been assigned with mental afflictions. Seems mental health has become a political weapon against contrary ideas.
When it comes to mass murders in schools, responsibility is assigned to guns, not the brain behind the gun. It’s funny how those aiming the weapon of the mental health industry seem to use the diagnosis for opponents to their agenda, but not those they can use to support their agenda. School shooters are among those that can be used to support the liberal goal of gun control. So those being conservative or against the idea of man made global warming are mental cases, but those going in schools and killing children are not. The gun is at fault!
It’s quite funny, no really not funny, frightening how the mental health industry abuses thought processes to come to conclusions. It seems a power they are quite willing to corrupt to maintain and gain greater political power! Another industry like education, communications (media) and government that are willing to sell their souls for lucrative positions in the socialist society liberals are pioneering in America!
Emotional Health Screening seems to be a new healthcare initiative being pushed. Setting up periodic sessions to pre-empt emotional pitfalls is the stated objective, saving people from the pain and agony of life. Primarily aimed at children of school age from pre-kindergarten to high school, this is aimed at possible emotional mental illnesses in adolescence before their brains can run their full developmental course. Perhaps to monitor the affects of zealous diagnosis of children and prescribing drugs for their emotional well being is just what the children need?
In schools they are prescribing Ritalin for children tagged with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) or ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder). Drugging children, antsy having to sit in class all day, with dangerous drugs to bring them under control has become common place. The National Resource Center on AD/HD says, “Studies tell us that play and exercise can stimulate brain growth in areas often underdeveloped in children with ADHD.”
Yet children are pulled from the playful formative years that some studies say nurture creativity, curiosity and learning and are placed in the “regimented classroom settings” earlier and earlier. Indoctrination replaces education. The stresses of mental imprisonment bubbles and ferments in the brain! Could this bring on the mental and emotional anguish psychiatrists and psychologists are exploiting? Are they sowing the seeds of discontent and troubled minds to later profit from them perhaps creating killers?
It seems the “Psychiatry Industry” wants to cultivate a culture of therapy at a very young age. It certainly would be an ingenious business model, aggressively and ruthlessly sacrificing children for profit. They are nurturing children to become adults who are weak and needy and need them, creating a population of patients to fill their couches.
This insures profit and power of their profession. It establishes position in the production line of indoctrination in the nanny state. Liberals are already building their presence in the Education Industry becoming ever expanding essential parts of our always growing school districts. Even when the population of children in the schools is shrinking and the results of education failing!
