Gun Control for the Masses but Liberal Elites above the Law (Photos)

Even as the Liberal Elites like Diane Feinstein orchestrate a media whirlwind to lobby for gun control and even confiscation, other members of the elite demonstrate that those laws don't apply to them.

Case in point is NBC's David Gregory.

Gregory made unintentional headlines when an on-air stunt on the Dec. 22 broadcast of Meet the Press backfired and made him the focus of a media scandal and a supposed police investigation.

The uproar was caused by NBC commentator David Gregory's illegal possession of a "large capacity feeding device" commonly known as a magazine. Gregory's action were done in open defiance of existing gun laws and in spite of being explicitly advised by the District's police department that it would be a violation of the law.

Given the DC Police's much heralded Zero Tolerance on Gun Crimes one would have expected immediate police action. I guess those rules don't apply when the violator is a member of the Liberal media who was engaged in anti gun propaganda when they got a little carried away.

Just to be clear. If you or I had violated this law, we'd be in cuff on the way to the police station. When David Gregory did it on national television, the police didn't even bother questioning him or searching his home or office. It's not really clear just exactly what the police investigation consisted of. Eating jelly donuts?

It must be cool to be above the law like David Gregory. He has armed guards watching over his kids school and probably has a body guard to keep the riffraff from getting too close. He doesn't need a gun but he knows he can break DC gun laws at will because he's above all that. He's not like the peasantry.

He's above the law!

Must be nice, huh?
