The offshore oil company W & T Offshore was using contract workers from WoodGroupPSN who actually engaged in the criminal activity.

WoodGroupPSN adminstrative personnel were informed of these crimes and immediately removed the whistleblower from the contract with W & T . The employee's pay was lowered $ 3 an hour and reasigned to a harsh work environment as punishment and retaliation. Whereupon the whistleblower was injured on the job WoodGroupPSN terminated the whistleblower and has not reinstated him

This is what happens to environmental whistleblowers offshore in the oil and gas industry. This is why people fear for their jobs and families wellbeing , do they turn their eyes to criminal activity and allow the pollution to continue , infecting the seafood chain and entering into the foods humans consume.
