On Saturday March 2nd 2013 The NOG Run club will host their Annual 8K race, the race benefits MS.
Join us on March 2, 2013 as we attempt the break Guinness World Records for Largest kilt race!!!
The 2013 St. Paddy's Run Green 8K will attempt to set an official Guinness World Record for the Largest Kilt Run! Here is your chance to enjoy a great race and party AND participate in setting a new world record!
The current Guinness record for kilt runners is 1,089. With your help we can beat that record.
Sportkilt is an official sponsor of St. Paddy's Run Green 8K and are offering 10% discount to all runners when they use the discount code SPRG8K.
Our World Record attempt will be held prior to the 8K. All kilted runners will need to be in Moore Square at 12:45pm to pick up their wrist band and take a group photo. The kilted run will be a 200 meter run (or walk) and starts at 2pm. Registration into the 8K includes the 200 M run. You can also register for only the 200 M run which includes a tech shirt and free beer (21+).
*10 runners will win a FREE pair of Brooks running shoes
*1 out of every 100th finisher will receive a $40 voucher towards Brooks apparel
*1 out of every 50th finisher will receive a FREE pair of Drymax socks
