Guild Wars 2: Trading

In Guild Wars 2 trading can take place in a few different forms. Players can trade player to player through mail, or they can trade through the trading post. There’s also the process of buying selling to NPC’s. [Guild Wars 2 main page]

Players can send mail to each other in order to trade, and they can also drop items to trade to each other. Player to player trading in Guild Wars 2 involves trust, there is no normal trade system in Guild Wars 2 like there is in other MMORPG’s.

The Trading Post in the main option available for most players when it comes to trading; it’s through the trading post that players can most easily access all the items, weapons, and armor that they need in order to succeed.

Trading is a bit more complex in Guild Wars 2, but not impossible. There is no c.o.d. in Guild Wars 2, so players must manage with what they have. It is currently unknown if ArenaNet Will ever add a normal player to player trading system in Guild Wars 2.
