Private servers have always been a fad even before World of Warcraft. Sometimes players don’t feel like working their way through all the grinding of the game. Often private servers will have modifiers, like 10x normal experience gains, or players might just start at level 80. Private servers don’t usually stop popping up until the game has been out for a few years, and players want to try new things with their games.
There’s not really much else information out there on Guild Wars 2 private servers. If you need more, you’ll have to look around for yourself, there’s not much else to find out there.
