Guilds in Guild Wars 2 are groupings of players who come together to play more effectively, and get rewarded from the game by doing so. Guild’s can range from 1 to 500 members, and exist across multiple servers/worlds. [Guild Wars 2 main page]
There are guild ranks in the guilds that allow different privileges, and guilds are fairly cheap to upgrade. There is also a guild bank concept in Guild Wars 2 where privileges guild members can move stuff around in the bank.
Guild’s can also take claim of world objectives and show their guild logo on the captured regions. They also benefit from all the bonuses purchased with the use of influence.
