This month "Guild Wars 2" will patch with Flame and Frost update. Today, an official blog post from ArenaNet detailed a new feature coming to the game with the update. Guild missions are on their way with new rewards.
Guild missions can be unlocked through a guild technology tree. These missions promote cooperation through PvE content designed for several people. Completing these missions will reward guild merits and unlock more benefits for the guild. These benefits include combination banners, waypoint cost reduction, and more.
Small guilds are not to worry. Although the content is designed for a number of people, these missions take place in the open world. Other players can assist if they so choose.
