Guild Wars 2 free trials no longer exist. In Guild Wars the free trial was an invite only game period that ended at 10PM PST on November 18th. The only way to get a trial account was if a player who bought the game invited you into the trial. The trial would let people enjoy Guild Wars 2 until the previously mentioned date. Other than that the only potential way to get a “free trial” would be to buy the game digitally from the official website. It has been claimed that they give a full refund within 30 days of purchase if the player is not satisfied with the game. Really though, that’s not a free trial.
There are no stereotypical free trials in Guild Wars 2. They don’t really need them either since it’s so affordable to just buy the game. Eventually the price will be even lower, making Guild Wars 2 one of the most accessible one time buy MMORPG’s out there.
