Guess who's Toronto's Team for 2010?

San Antonio was the team Chris Bosh opposed on the day he became the Raps leading scorer.

I won't keep you in suspense.  There is only one team in the city of Toronto that is even worth a second look in the sports section.  That team is the Toronto Raptors.

There are many ways to look at them (and since no other team in the city seems to want to win, fans have to look at someone).

They can be considered one of the worst defensive teams in a long time who've struggled just to get to .500 in the franchise's most critical season.

They can be regarded as squad that saw a near total overhaul and are just starting to come together.

Some point to their record since the calendar flipped and see many positives; others add that the games from October count too.

No matter what your stance is, there are three key factors at work that folks are starting to focus on: First, and most importantly, they are winning.  Except when they play Boston or self-destruct like they did in Indiana.  Secondly, they are starting to glance at potential play-off matchups and dream (imagine hosting Miami in the first round?).  Lastly, the Chris Bosh drama is in play.  They are hoping that the franchise's leading scorer stays or they get something bona fide for him.

Either way, no other pro squad in Ontario carries this much intrigue and that is why the Toronto Raptors are my prediction for Toronto's team in 2010.  Let the plot play out!
