Guerrero believes he will humble Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero truly believes, that not only will people win a lot of money if they bet on him to defeat Floyd Mayweather Jr., but that he will also humble Floyd in the process. Guerrero (31-1-1) has publicly lobbied for a fight against Floyd and is not shy to express his opinions about the undefeated Mayweather. According to a March 1st, 2013 report by BoxingScene.com, Guerrero made the following comments:

"I was put in this position not only to humble the boxing world, but to humble Floyd Mayweather. I have a lot of faith that I'm going to go in there and dominate this fight. I see a lot of slippage. I see him slowing down. I think Berto is a lot faster, but the one thing that carries Floyd Mayweather through is his elegance in the ring. His intelligence, being able to change angles."

Guerrero has a great deal of momentum on his side after he dominated both Selcuk Aydin and Andre Berto in his two recent welterweight bouts. Additionally, Guerrero has youth and toughness in his favor. Some analysts believe that Robert also has speed in his favor, which is huge considering Floyd's impressive skills.

It's true, fans will make a lot of money if they bet on Guerrero and he's able to upset Floyd in their May 4th battle. However, even if he shocks the world, I don't think he will humble Floyd. In fact, if jail, age or life can't humble the man, I don't see Guerrero accomplishing this feat.

With a little more than 2 months away, I still believe Floyd will score the decision victory. However, Robert will make this a tough fight and he will build off of what Miguel Cotto exposed Floyd of last year.
