Gudi Padwa/Ugadi Greetings, SMS and wishes to celebrate new year

Ugadi festival is celebrated in India and across the world by Hindus on April 4, 2011.

In India the festival is celebrated in different ways in different places. People wear new clothes and exchange sweets. Friends and families visit each other to exchange greetings. Delicious foods are prepared and sweets exchanged.

People visits temple and listen to the “Panchangasravanam” and the priest forecasts events for the year.

Ugadi or Gudi Pawda is a great occasion for family and friends to get together. This escorts in the new year, with the hope that the year will be bring in fortune and good luck.
