Gucci sent their fall/winter 2013/2014 collection down the Milan Fashion Week runways today and showed a dark, saturated collection for the upcoming cool weather season. Gucci showed structured silhouettes made from flowing, soft fabrics on the Milan Fashion Week runway paired with structured shoes and handbags offering texture and contrast for the fall/winter 2013/2014 season.
The handbag collection Gucci designed for the fall/winter 2013/2014 season featured two distinct styles on the Milan Fashion Week runway; the satchel and the clutch. The satchels on the Gucci runway were medium sized and shown in classic black. The black satchels were made from rigid leather and featured two top handles. Gucci paired the structured, classic satchels with structured silhouettes made from soft fabrics which flowed as the models walked down the Milan Fashion Week runway.
In addition to satchels, Gucci showed medium sized clutches for fall/winter 2013/2014 during Milan Fashion Week. The clutches were shown in black or dark, burnt red. Gucci’s clutch collection could easily be worn during the day or carried for evening occasions. The clutches were made from stiff leather and featured a structured, classic rectangular shape.
The overall collection on the Gucci fall/winter 2013/2014 runway at Milan Fashion Week was dark and soft with a classic, elegant touch. The structured silhouettes offered a contrast to the flowing fabrics yet still maintained the classic, ladylike vibe of the overall collection.
