Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life…Proverbs 4:23

Solomon has been credited as being the wisest man then, now, or in the future, a fact God declared that there would be none like Solomon. It is not surprising since Proverbs holds a treasure chest of wise sayings, facts of human nature, and the consequences of good or bad behavior. The truth just never goes out of style.

A long traditional standard in the field of human psychology has stipulated with the consensus of the vast majority of psychiatrists that human sexuality is learned behavior based on environment, socialization, and behavior modeling. This would validate the Bible’s warning to guard your heart because human behavior is learned.

Contrary to political correctness, it is fair to declare that human sexuality has long been associated to the normal development that comes with the indoctrination of heterosexuality. There have always been alternative lifestyles, but these lifestyles do no maximize the life expectancy of human beings.

Regarding sexuality, there appears to be no presupposition for sexual preference, but as a computer program, human sexual disposition is governed by behavior modeling, environment, and the mores of society that will program sexual orientation. The meaning of sexual orientation itself strongly suggests an indoctrination to sexuality.http://www.foxnews.com/health/2011/08/11/dr-keith-environment-not-just-genetics-determines-sexual-orientation/

There has been a strong push to substantiate homosexuality as a genetic predisposition, but by the record homosexuality as with heterosexuality is determined by the normal stimuli with developing any type of human behavior. One just does not throw out the book on behavior development just to imply that any type of sexuality is genetic per se.

While there is frantic research going on to validate homosexuality as a genetic issue, proponents determined to find a genetic answer for being gay are ignoring and rejecting long established scientific data that behavior modification is responsible for establishing our sexual preference.http://www.ask.com/wiki/Sexual_orientation?o=2800&qsrc=999&ad=doubleDown&an=apn&ap=ask.com

One human development researcher that specifically interviewed and catalogued conversations with hundreds of gay males or females found that a traumatic emotional experience was consistent with the vast majority of those that have a homosexual orientation. A death in the family, severe emotional trauma, or an experience of physical abuse was common to each subject during early development to those with a propensity to be gay.http://www.apa.org/helpcenter/sexual-orientation.aspx

Also contrary to controversial therapy treatment that over the decades have redirected homosexuals to a heterosexual lifestyle, there are challenging levels of adjustment that could cause problems depending on the severity of the case. However, those that have a desire to change is the key. As with any change of learned behavior, success is dependent on the individual wanting to change.

Spirituality plays a significant role emotionally, physically responding to medical services, and setting appropriate boundaries and limits. The benefits of guarding one’s heart or the detriments of not guarding one’s heart impacts significant areas of one’s life. This absolute truth is demonstrated ongoing in people’s lives.

The traditional family will set the environment for the best chance for children to develop and thrive emotionally, financially, in health, and in mental development. Alternative family units just do not work as well, not as opinion, but by the facts as established by the measurement of actual performance.

Psychological development, which includes sexuality, has always been an issue of external factors playing a high degree of success or failure to the individual’s behavior. It is only during our modern era where the determination to find genes that allegedly determine sexual orientation have been attempted to justify.

As with a computer program, much of our brain is hard coded to accept whatever behavior one programs into it. It matches the declaration of Proverbs 4:23 explicitly, which is why it matters substantially why one needs to be careful what one exposes to our brains and memory. Good and bad behavior is typically learned, and sexuality is clearly learned according to behavioral experts.

Behavior is learned and can be modified or the science of psychiatry does not work. Behavior is clinically modified for all types of issues through drugs, reinforcement, and modeling. Sexuality is no exception regarding behavior. Until there is specific scientific proof that sexuality is predetermined because of genes, then it is presumptuous to declare there is a gene regulating sexuality.

These issues do not play well with liberal thinking, but conjecture does not trump reality.

The Bible is quite accurate when it comes to human behavior and what governs behavior. Legitimate behavior history validates what the Holy Scriptures as the standard.
