According to IGN on Aug. 29, in an interview with "Parks and Recreation's" Chris Pratt, who is playing Star Lord in James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy", had mentioned there could be a possibility that said movie could cross over with other Marvel films. Pratt entertained it as a possibility considering they all fall under the same Marvel "umbrella".
"Man, that would be really cool. What’s nice is that it is all the same universe. Because it falls under the Marvel umbrella, there is the possibility, just like in the comic books, that these stories could intersect".
Pratt even mentioned he gets to have sex with an alien, but couldn't detail what those scenes entailed. He also was in awe about the artistry that he was enamored by in "Guardians of the Galaxy" and also mentioned as a kid he was more enthralled with the artwork as opposed to the actual stories. Pratt also talked about how the footage that was shown to a select few at the San Diego Comic Con was very accurate.
"I thought that footage was pretty bada**".
It seems as if Pratt concluded that the tone of Gunn's film seems to be of a consistent mix of humor, drama, and action with everything in between. He also considers "Guardians of the Galaxy" to be the "Citizen Kane" of the 21st century.
"Guardians of the Galaxy" is scheduled to open in theaters come August 1, 2014.
