Guard pregnant by cop killer arrested for sex with inmate

A guard pregnant by a cop killer was arrested for her part in an alleged plan to save the inmate from the death penalty. The 29-year-old guard is Nancy Gonzalez. She was arrested at her Huntington, Long Island home on Feb. 4, 2013, according to New York Daily News.

It isn't clear how impregnating Gonzalez was supposed to save convicted cop killer Ronell Wilson from capital punishment, but Gonzalez is facing up to 15 years in prison for her actions. She is also eight months pregnant. The guard was scheduled to be arraigned today in Brooklyn Federal Court.

Gonzalez was a guard at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn when she met Wilson, who was convicted of murdering undercover NYPD detectives Rodney Andrews and James Nemorin.

The guard pregnant by the cop killer allegedly had sexual intercourse with Wilson while the other inmates at the detention center were locked in their cells.

Gonzalez apparently has a history of interesting relationships. Her boyfriend, who is not Wilson, is currently incarcerated in state prison. Gonzalez reportedly explained her actions to her boyfriend in a telephone conversation that was recorded by authorities. She said, "I took a chance because I was so vulnerable and wanted to be loved and now I am carrying his child."
