Psalm 111:7-10 (NLT)
All he does is just and good and all his commandments are trustworthy. They are forever true, to be obeyed faithfully and with integrity. He has paid a full ransom for his people. He has guaranteed his covenant with them forever. What a holy, awe-inspiring name he has! Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom.

For Christmas, my daughter asked for a new smartphone. If you have a teenager, then you are well aware of the value of their cellular device. In fact, I am almost certain that she has grown such an attachment that is part of her body as a third appendage and am afraid to try to dislodge it from her person. In her mind, it connects her to the world which I do not doubt which in and of itself comes with its own challenges less I digress. Her wish list contained two items the phone and a very special case that was equally as costly. When I asked her why it was so special, she informed me that it came with a “lifetime guarantee” which was implied in the brand name. A couple months later, she came to me with her case and the box distraught that it was defective. The seal around the edge was broken making it useless. So I contacted the company. I had my doubts going in that this “lifetime guarantee” would be a bunch of fluff ready to be run through the mill trying to get a replacement. However, I was greatly surprised. The company asked for the serial number on the front and back of the case, where it was purchased and when. (Yes, there was a serial number for both parts marked inside the edge.) Within twenty four hours, we were issued a new case mailed to our house free of charge. There was no request for a return or further red tape and within a week the new case arrived. The company stood behind its guarantee without a fine print. I was amazed. This product which I believed to be overpriced hype now has my full loyalty. Why? Because they kept their promise.

Everything that the Lord does is just and good. All of His Commandments are trustworthy. He is forever true bound by His Unfailing Love and Faithful Integrity. God is not a man and He cannot lie or change His Mind. (Numbers 23:19) He has paid a full ransom for His People with the Blood of His Precious Son, Jesus Christ. It is guaranteed forever! Forever is more than a lifetime. It stretches on and on forever without an end. Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom. Fear is to believe God at His Word by faith to enter into an agreement with the Lord and experience His Blessings and Inheritance forever. However, it is human nature to doubt. We live suspect of all that is good or comes with a guarantee. This is a paranoid state created by sin and shame of life led in the darkness that fears exposure in the light. God promise that we can live shamelessly in the Light of His Amazing Love. Why are God’s People not living in fulfillment? Where are His Promises? What must we do to prosper once again as He has indicated the righteous will do? Am I righteous at all or mislead by religion? Where is my guarantee?

Psalm 25:8-10 (NLT)
The LORD is good and does what is right; He shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. The LORD leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands.

God’s Promises never go away. His Word will not return to Him void of fulfillment. So the problem is not with the Lord, but rises up within us. Rebellion robs us of His Promises as we choose something less than God’s Very Best. Repentance brings us back into righteousness readying us for receivership of all that He has promised. However, many people are afraid to trust the Lord and expect His Promises because of who they are. Abram was considered by God to be righteous. Not because he was perfect or did all the right things, simply because he dared to trust God and attempt to walk in his ways. It was based on the intentions of his heart alone that God entered covenant with Abram. When the man was born, he was given the name “Abram” which means “exalted father”. (Genesis 17:1-5) His purpose became a reality as an infant when he drew his first breath. He would live 99 years before his name was changed from Abram to Abraham which means “father of many”. Purpose is in our DNA. It is God’s Power that changes purpose into promises. This power is given to us by God when we give our life to Him.

Psalm 25 begins with a commitment. David said, “Lord I give my life to you…” He did not try to fix it or change himself just drug all that he was to the altar and gave it to the Lord. (Psalm 25:1-7) This is an act of repentance turning from our way and choosing God’s Way. It is not a forced position or imprisoned lifestyle but one of free choice. This is the moment that we decide that what the Lord has to offer is better than what we can do ourselves and yield our life to Him. The problem is that most trips to the altar do not result in repentance. Maybe if we made people walk back to their seats backwards still facing the altar of God that they would get the point rather than turning around to head back again. We want the promises of God but do not choose to walk in agreement with Him. Covenant is an agreement. It is to live in agreement with God that will guarantee our purpose is fulfilled and His Promises our inheritance. Psalm 25 does not just reveal our part of the covenant but God’s Part as well. (Psalm 25:8-15) “Who are those who fear the LORD? He will show them the path they should choose. They will live in prosperity, and their children will inherit the land. The LORD is a friend to those who fear him. He teaches them his covenant. My eyes are always on the LORD, for he rescues me from the traps of my enemies.” This is only an overview. We make the critical error of thinking righteousness is something we “do” rather than a position established by Jesus Christ in us. You can do nothing to be righteous. All you can do is pursue it. When you are overtaken by His Love, then you become righteous. His Promises make it to you – you don’t make it happen. His Purpose is fulfilled – you do not do it. He is bound by His Promise. You have already broken yours. We bring ourselves into agreement with the Lord through repentance. The Lord gives us His Spirit as a guarantee that we can live in Covenant with God in spite of ourselves. This is right standing with God that leads to fulfillment. All of me for all of You, Lord.

Psalm 111:7-10 (NLT)
All he does is just and good, and all his commandments are trustworthy. Praise him forever!

Our covenant with God is guaranteed only in Jesus Christ. There is nothing at all that we can do to improve on it or impress God that will result in a new purpose or identity. Complete fulfillment is found in the Person of Jesus alone. God stands by His Covenant to His People forever. (Psalm 105:7-8) It is a direct result of God’s Love for all mankind that lasts forever. (Psalm 103:17-18) Even when we rebel, God is still pursuing a covenant relationship with us. (Psalm 106:43-46) God made a new covenant with His People when He sent His Son, Jesus, to shed His Blood for us. (Matthew 26:26-29) It made the difference for us in that now we have a guarantee that we did not have before. We are guaranteed His Purpose, Promises and Prosperity as a result of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Accept Jesus Christ and you are given such a guarantee for life everlasting no matter what you do. This world is suffering because of its sin. (Isaiah 24:4-13) God is looking into the darkness for glimpses of Light. The remnant who finally understands true righteousness is not what they but simply because Jesus Christ lives in them.

2 Corinthians 3:4-6 (NLT)
We are confident of all this because of our great trust in God through Christ. It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God. He has enabled us to be ministers of his new covenant. This is a covenant not of written laws, but of the Spirit. The old written covenant ends in death; but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life.

There it is! Our lifetimes guarantee given to us by Jesus Christ allowing us to trust God for promises, purpose and prosperity now and forever. It belongs to me. No one can take it from me unless I choose to give it away. All the years I tried to be a good person and do all the right things to find favor with God are washed away in His Blood. I have been given the living Spirit of God thanks to Jesus. Now I am right with God. I will remain true to this covenant because He alone has made me righteous. My pursuit is to know Him more so that I can live in agreement with His Guarantee. When I was trying to claim the guarantee for the case that was defective, the company asked for the serial numbers on the inside of the case. These numbers were so tiny that I had to take a picture with my phone and enlarge the pictures just to read them. But that was enough to produce the promise that they had made to us. The Spirit of the Living God is enough to promote and produce all of God’s Promises and Purpose in our life. The Holy Spirit identifies us as Children of God. (I Corinthians 1:22) The Holy Spirit guarantees every single promise as our personal inheritance. (Ephesians 1:14) When we cross over from this world to Eternity, it is the Holy Spirit that opens the door to everlasting life. (Ephesians 4:30) The way to God’s Fulfillment is to live by the Spirit. End of story. To experience our lifetime guarantee, we must live the life God commanded which is to live in His Love. Religion tells us to do this and do that to try and earn our spot. We are guaranteed our position of right standing with God enabling us to live by the Power of God to fulfillment of purpose, receive all His Promises and prosper from the inside out. This is accomplished solely by giving our whole life to Jesus and letting Him work it all out.

Ephesians 2:12-14 (NLT)
In those days you were living apart from Christ. You were excluded from citizenship among the people of Israel, and you did not know the covenant promises God had made to them. You lived in this world without God and without hope. But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ. For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.

God has guaranteed you a good life now and forevermore through His Son, Jesus Christ. It is a promise of fulfillment in all things. Jesus Christ brought our life into agreement with God. You are free to exercise the rights of righteousness such as His Favor for no other reason than Jesus Christ lives on the inside of you. You cannot guarantee that you won’t turn away tomorrow so it is Jesus who guarantees your life. (Hebrews 7:22) Jesus mediates our covenant with God when we fail or fall short reminding God of the Blood that He shed for our every sin so we can return through repentance using the grace we have been given to once again live in agreement with Him. (Hebrews 8:6) The old covenant was God living outside of us trying to find His Way into our hard hearts. The new covenant is God’s Love in us working through us. (Hebrews 8:9-11) You have everything inside of you if you know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord to experience the Fullness of God in your life. It’s guaranteed!

Isaiah 54:9-10 (NLT)
“Just as I swore in the time of Noah that I would never again let a flood cover the earth, so now I swear that I will never again be angry and punish you. For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the LORD, who has mercy on you.
