‘GTA V’ players can earn real-world prizes for taking pics of their in-game cars

Rockstar Games has announced another Grand Theft Auto V photo contest that asks fans to so off pictures of their customized in-game vehicles but taking shots of them in the game with the Snapmatic phone app. The developer introduced the Snapmatic Photo Contest on Jan 24 which will allow players a chance to win real GTA V merchandising.

To enter, fans must take in-game pictures of their personal vehicles, using their iFruit phone, within either Grand Theft Auto V’s single-player campaign or GTA Online. To complete the entry, players then need to upload the picture to the Rockstar Social website and then tag the screenshot with #LSCarShow between now and the end of the month. Then, after all entries have been collected, Rockstar Games will select five winners who will receive a deluxe prize pack that consists of an official game tee, a sleeping bag with the disguised as a Los Santos County Coroner body bag, a iFruit phone case, and assorted GTA 5 Stickers.

Rockstar Games also clarified, shortly after their original announcement, that previously take photos are not eligible for consideration. All photo entries must have been taken and uploaded no sooner than Friday, Jan 24.

Grand Theft Auto V is out now only on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
